CTSARCAM was organized in the fall of 2002, to train personnel and their canine or
equine partners in search and rescue techniques to assist any law enforcement or
other official agencies in searching for missing persons.
We are a 501c3 non-profit organization.
All donations are tax deductible.

Mission Statement
Cen-Tex Search and Rescue; Canine and Mounted is dedicated to providing trained and
certified volunteer personnel, canines, and equines in assiting law enforcement and other
entities in searching for and locating missing persons and/or remains of missing persons to
alleviate pain and suffering of its fellow human beings.

Goals
  • To provide communities in Central Texas and surrounding areas, as needed, with
    trained and certified personnel.

  • To provide nationally certified canine and handler teams that can be utilized in the
areas of area search, trailing, disaster, and cadaver.

Cen-Tex does not post information on searches
in respect to the families and law enforcement agencies.

Search documentation is available by request to responsible agencies only.

Resumes and references are also available upon request by responsible agencies.

WE NEED YOU!
Owning a dog or horse is not a requirement to become a member of CTSARCAM.
Ground support, incident command staff, and communications volunteers are a
much needed part of our team.  We encourage YOU to come to our trainings and see
if SAR volunteering is for you.

Being a SAR volunteer is a big commitment of time, energy, and money, but all of us
feel it is well worth it.  We encourage volunteers who are seriously interested in
helping their community and neighbors.

Upon application acceptance, the new volunteer will be a novice support volunteer.
They are required to obtain first aid and CPR within 90 days of acceptance.  They are
also expected to obtain a NASAR SAR Tech III within a reasonable amount of time
given the availability of the course.

All volunteers are expected to participate in Team Trainings and special events.

We respond to SAR missions throughout the year. We also train together as a unit so
that we may learn to work together better as a team to enable us to more effectively
serve our community with pride.

COME JOIN US!

Thank you.
